I’m moving back to Washington, DC in late May (and am likely to re-start the music photography gigs I had there, albeit with a bit lesser frequency), so the show I shot at First Avenue three weeks ago was almost certainly my last time shooting there. It couldn’t have been more over-the-top awesome for photography, as the trio of power metal bands Dragonforce, Holy Grail and Huntress made it easy to get some great shots.
